Sammy Miller MBE is for many people a motorcycling hero. Not only was Sammy eleven times British Champion and winner of over 1400 events, he is still entering and winning competitions more than 50 years after his first victory! He is unique in that he was both a world-class GP rider as well as one of the most successful British trials riding Champions. Truly a legend.
2019 was Sammy’s first time at Kop Hill Climb and he so enjoyed the unique, relaxed atmosphere, particularly the ability to mingle and chat with the knowledgeable and friendly crowd, that he has chosen to be with us again.
Today, Sammy runs the world-renowned Sammy Miller Museum in the New Forest (well worth making a special visit) and again will be bringing along two special bikes from his extensive collection. In 2019 it was the 1957 Gilera 500 GP Racer and a 500cc 1950 Bicilindrical Moto Guzzi V Twin -one of the great V Twins of all time. With a whole museum to choose from, what bikes will he bring in 2020?
