Pre-war

Pre-war cars and bikes get priority

It’s only fair as this is where it all started – and finished, when competitive events were banned in 1925!

For many of our 16,000 spectators these happen to be the vehicles that you’ve seen and heard the least of – particularly in action.  At Kop Hill Festival we love to group and run vehicles of the same era together, so booking early to get your space in the paddock reserved really helps.

Our course is fully marshalled and hill runners can choose to return back to the paddock either through a signposted route through the countryside or face yet more waving appreciative crowds via the town of Princes Risborough itself.

Passengers are positively encouraged – which certainly wasn’t the case in the hills early racing days!
